DVD Burner not Recognized

I would guess the problem is that your drive is not in the registry where LE looks for the drive...I don't know why Pinnacle didn't put a different method of drive-lookup in the program, but anyhoo...here is how you can get LE to recognize your drive:

open my computer
right click on the recorder
select proprties
click the hardware tab
write down the firmware recorder name from the drivelist(you need the exact name spaces will be displayed as underscores)
then
click on start
click on run
type regedit and click ok
go to HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VOB\CDRA\Writer
look for your recorder or a similar type
rename that recorder
close regedit
should work now!

I had to do this twice...once when I first got the drive, then again when I changed computers. A request to Pinnacle to update the DVD Recorder Patch fell on deaf ears.
